Recipe of Spaghetti with Solky Mullet Fillets, Lemon, and Wild Fennel

A simple and fragrant dish, where the bold flavor of mullet is perfectly balanced by the freshness of lemon and the aromatic notes of wild fennel.


Recipe of Spaghetti with Solky Mullet Fillets, Lemon, and Wild Fennel.


Ingredients for two people:

  • 180 g of spaghetti


  • 1 can of Solky mullet fillets in oil


  • 1 garlic clove


  • Grated zest of 1/2 organic lemon


  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice


  • A small bunch of wild fennel (or parsley)


  • Extra virgin olive oil, to taste


  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Preparation:

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water.


  2. In a pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil with the crushed garlic. Add the crumbled mullet fillets and briefly sauté.


  3. Add the lemon juice and zest, stir, and turn off the heat.


  4. Drain the pasta al dente, transfer it to the pan, and mix well.


  5. Serve with a sprinkle of chopped wild fennel and a drizzle of raw olive oil.
